
Hello I am Helen Maxwell, a fully qualified nutritional therapist and a breathwork coach.
I work with my clients to try to resolve the root cause of their health issues and symptoms. I provide nutrition, lifestyle and health advice for many different issues but some of the common concerns I deal with are:
I also teach breathwork. The breathwork I teach focuses on restoring breathing to it’s natural rhythm, this being light, slow and deep. There are three core aspects of breathing to address. The research shows that the majority of people have at least one aspect of breathing that is disordered. Functional breath training therefore has applications for most people in order to correct this.
The health improvements range far and wide as you are learning to oxygenate your body properly. This has the potential to impact all areas of the physical body but also calms the mind. It is especially helpful for anxiety, stress, and panic disorder because breathing interacts with the heart, the gut via the diaphragm, and the mind. For the sports side of things we take it up a level. The one to one training is personalised to your requirements and life/exercise routine.
I see clients one to one in Eastbourne or online via zoom. I also offer group courses and workshops.
