Bowes House Care Home 

Bowes House is a 90 bed care home and all rooms within the home have en-suite wet rooms. We provide residential, dementia and nursing care for older people and those living with dementia, as well as respite and end of life care. Bowes House is part of Care UK the second largest care home provider in the UK. Hi I am Lisa Phillips, Bowes House Care Home Customer Relations Manager. I am responsible for ensuring prospective residents and relatives have all the information they need about the home, I am usually the first point of contact, arrange initial contracts and ensure you have a smooth transition into the home. I am also involved in marketing the home and organising events such as seminars on care fee planning, dementia and a regular bi-monthly care networking breakfast for care professionals.

Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society

I am responsible for raising awareness of dementia and trying to create a more dementia friendly community by delivering the free Alzheimer’s society dementia friends talk to community groups, sheltered housing schemes, businesses and any other groups who feel it would be useful for their members.
